Myers-Briggs personalities conclusions

It should be noted that these distinct personality types are not distributed homogeneously within the population: some types are more common than others.

At this point, you just have to discover your personality. On the internet, you will find many websites Which allow you to take the test for free. I am an INFJ, what about you?

MBTI is an excellent tool that allows us to understand the diversity of human nature better. There are many ways in which MBTI can enrich our daily life. Let's see some.

Relationship

There are no ideal or more successful combination types when it comes to relationships. However, understanding and applying type theory to relationships can improve communication, provide people with a better understanding of how they deal with conflicts and provide tools for a variety of situations, including making successful decisions and engaging in activities together.

Job opportunities

People are attracted to jobs that allow them to use their natural-type preferences. Although all four letters of your type can influence the kind of employment you might be attracted to, the two central letters (ST, SF, NF or NT) of your type are of particular importance for your professional choices.

Education

There are many different and equally valid ways to learn. An extrovert person prefers learning situations that allow him to interact with others.

An introverted person, on the other hand, prefers silent places that enable him to reflect on and elaborate on his thoughts. What type you are can help you identify some of your strengths when approaching study and learning.

Counselling

Originally, Jung developed his theory of types as part of his practice of consulting with clients. The core of the theory of types, therefore, has its roots in psychological counselling.

Type can shed light on a number of issues commonly dealt with in counselling: self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life development and transitions, decision-making, and more. What type you are can also provide non-judgmental language to talk about problems in counselling.

Spirituality

Many people find that their type provides them with a way of understanding their path and spiritual development and their natural gifts. People of different kinds are attracted to various spiritual practices and have different ways of expressing their understanding of spirituality.

As you have seen, MBTI is effective in many areas, as it enables us to understand interpersonal dynamics by looking at the personality of each of us. It helps us build self-awareness and becomes an excellent tool for understanding how we interact with the world and the people around us.

Many companies use it to test their employees and to understand how they can best perform based on the results obtained. You can see the MBTI test as a house with 16 rooms. You are in one of them, but nobody is preventing you from visiting any of the others. Myers-Briggs simply suggests that there is a room that suits you best of all - a room you would be most comfortable in. People really get that.

However, there are psychologists who have cast doubt on the accuracy of this test by accusing it of having poor scientific foundations. In their opinion, these four-letter personality types do not mean much. They fail to include what psychologists define as personality, including thoughts, emotional responses, and behaviours.

They think the MBTI test could give people a false impression of how psychology works. A false sense of expertise. Well, in that case, the best thing to do is to answer the 93 questions and evaluate for yourself the accuracy of the results and their usefulness. Do not forget, however, that MBTI is only an indicator. Personalities do not always and totally adapt to their descriptions since we live experiences that shape us.

It should be noted that these distinct personality types are not distributed homogeneously within the population: some types are more common than others. At this point, you just have to discover your
